Dear Friends,

Help us continue the momentum of NO MORE Week as we move into April and Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).

SAAM is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year with the theme “Prevention is Possible” to help individuals, communities and the private sector understand how they can help stop sexual assault before it happens by promoting safety, respect and equality.

There are so many meaningful ways you can get involved in SAAM and we encourage you to explore them all.

Here are just a few ideas:

Join the #30DaysofSAAM instagram contest. Spread the word about Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)! Each day in April, post a photo that reflects the day’s theme. Click here to learn more.
Participate in SAAM Day Of Action on Tuesday, April 5th. This nationally recognized day provides an opportunity for preventionists and advocates to engage with their communities and kick off SAAM events that are planned throughout April. Click here to learn more.
Take a picture with your NO MORE sign for SAAM. There's no excuse and never an invitation for sexual assault! Join us in calling out harmful attitudes and challenging victim blaming myths by sharing the myth or excuse you say NO MORE to. The seventh annual benefit luncheon will take place at the Log Cabin in Holyoke. The day kicks off with registration at 10:30 a.m. followed by educational breakout sessions, a silent auction, heart healthy lunch and a keynote address. Go Red For Women movement challenges women to know their risk for heart disease and take action to reduce their personal risk. Women from all walks of life are encouraged to attend the Go Red For Women Luncheon and learn how to take charge of their heart health.
